Nano Skull with Burning Cigarette (after Van Gogh)-845 viewsThis piece used just one of the three seed images provided “Hanging n There”. When I was working on it for another piece I noticed that when it was flopped vertically it resembled a skull. I thought it would be fun to recreate Van Gogh’s “Skull with a Burning Cigarette using nano parts.

Stupa-825 viewsThis piece used just one of the three seed images provided “Anchored”. That image was duplicated, layered, colorized and finally composited. The next step was adding the “Stupa” and the all seeing eye, which were accomplished using Kai’s Power Tools and regular photoshop filters. I have always been fascinated by the correlation between images of the extremely minute (nano imagery) and the extremely large (astronomical photography) they are almost interchangeable and reflect the infinity of the universe.

Who Watches the Watchers-902 viewsThis piece used two of the three seed images provided. Nano Flowers and Hanging in There. In each case I used parts of the images compositing them, colorizing and adding a few filters. My goal was to create a multi-leveled image that will draw the viewer into the complexities on the world of NanoArt.

Winter Rose-810 viewsThis piece used just one of the three seed images provided “Nano Flower”. That image was duplicated, layered, colorized and finally composited. No special photoshop tricks were involved. The image itself was striking enough.
