I sputter coated it with gold and put it in my JEOL 6610 LV scanning electron microscope. I fell in love with the unique micro-structure and was happy that it was not a bug but a seed.

Moth Antennae-11499 viewsI found a little brown moth that passed away in my office. I sputter coated gold and put it in the scanning electron microscope. I have such a new fascination with the moth all of itís microstructures are unique and beautiful.

Waterways Tea Stem-11707 viewsI had a wonderful cup of tea and I was surprised on how much the tea expanded so I cut open the bag and dried the contents in Liquid Nitrogen and let them air dry. Later I sputter coated gold and put it in the scanning electron microscope, there was a lot of edge effect so I diffused the image in Phototshop.
