Draco Among the Irises - Cosine-763 viewsI was inspired by the color pallet of a small section of The Path among the Irises 1914-1917 by Claude Monet. I wanted to take that color pallet and explore and describe the various areas of the Draco image. The image was resized using GIMP and then 10,000 random points were selected from the resulting image. The drawing process inverted the brightness of the blue component and then skewed the colors to a pastel pallet based on the region of the image and random factors. Once the new color was selected a random circle and polygon was placed at the location of the original pixel. This really is Monet meets Nano meets Jackson Pollock.
